Who we are

This is a CAS project organised by five students from the Class of 2017, and it awards service hours to additional volunteers.

What we do

Poshpaws is a group that organises monthly visits to pet sanctuaries in need of extra help. The work that we do includes cleaning cages, caring for the animals, and helping these sanctuaries organise special events. We've taken care of a number of animals, including birds, dogs, cats, goats, etc.

-Alyanna DeVera (Class of 2017)

Created in 2016, this CAS project not only aims to help animals in need, but also aims to raise awareness of the importance of animal lives and also give students an opportunity for them to realize why taking care of them is such a huge responsibility. It also allows students to have an hands-on experience with animals, and encourages students to make future visits or even adoptions as they become more familiar and closer to the animals on site.

We visit the sanctuary once a month, when weather allows us to. During the summer, Poshpaws is always open to volunteers and donations.
